Juneau Soccer Club 7v7

Starting Monday, January 2^nd, we will be switching our weeknight and weekend format for January and February to a developmental game format (JSC 03 – JSC 98). We’ve created a “league” with two divisions: Elementary (JSC 03-01) and Middle (JSC 00-98). Within each division are teams that will play games twice a week. Rosters and Schedules (PDF’s) will be posted on the main page of the JSC website (See Below, some PDF's are more than one page, so please remember to scroll down after opening them).

Please refer to the PDF’s regularly, as the Google team calendars will not be used for our team game schedule.

We added this game format last year and found it to be a great way to change things up a bit for the players, and yet allow for continued development in their game!

Please keep in mind teams will not have a designated coach, instead JSC staff will be at the matches to referee and give out encouraging instruction as the matches play out.
Because this is a developmental“league”, there may be situations in which the referee will switch players around; this could be a positional switch or possibly a team switch for a particular match (possibly because one team doesn’t have enough players on that day). For development sake, we’d prefer matches to be close in nature.
With the weeknight schedule, in order toget matches in for each division, we are pressed for time. To make it work, we have to shorten up the schedule to a 50 minute format. On weeknights, teams will have 10 minutes to warm-up off the field, and 40 minutes on the field for matches. Weekend matches, teams will have 10 minutes of warm-up and 50 minutes to play.

2011-2012 Season

In order to simplify the registration process, the Juneau Soccer Club has setup online registration for the new season.

Please Note

There are two forms of payment with registration, credit card or by check. This year there will not be a credit card fee assessed to members.
Please register based on your child's birth date. In the event that they "play-up", register your child in the age-group the technically would play for and then contact us via e-mail and we can go in and manually move them to the proper age-group. PLEASE DO NOT ENTER AN IMPROPER BIRTH DATE, AS THIS COMPLICATES THINGS LATER ON.
High School Age U16-U19: A change was made to better tailor the type and quantity of training for our players. For this age group, an Advanced Training Program (2x a week) will be conducted from October-February. Girls and Boys will train separately. Teams may still decide to compete in summer tournaments, which will provide additional training and require an additional fee. The fee for the Advanced Training Program will be $175 for the year. Players forming a team and going into tournament competition will pay an additional $50 fee to cover the added months (June-September). This means individual age-group teams will start practice in June.

Returning Players: Anyone registered previously will already have most of the information in the system (name, address, phone numbers). Please check to ensure that we have the most current information. Juneau Soccer Club is excited to announce that our players now have access to iSoccer!

In order to help continue the technical development for our players within the club, JSC will be using the iSoccer technical assessment and online video training platform to help improve and track technical development. Members of the U10/11-U18 teams will have full access to iSoccer.

What is Isoccer? iSoccer is a technical assessment and video training tool that empowers players, coaches, and clubs to improve their technical ability. An iSoccer assessment will be taken several times throughout the year to measure individual and team development. JSC coaches will use the as
