Explanation of Fee Structure for 2007-2008 Juneau Soccer Club Season

* Player’s 11th birthday must be after July 31, 2008; if older s/he plays in U12 and the higher fees apply.

Membership fees support the year round club program which includes Advanced Training Practice (5th-12th), Skills Clinics (all ages), Goalkeeper Training (all ages), Sunday Soccer (all ages), summer field time for competitive teams, as well as the high school soccer program and club fees to Alaska Youth Soccer Association.  Some needs-based scholarships are available; check http://juneausoccer.org/membership.htm for more information.

Full Membership fee of $375 applies to all players in 5th through 12th grade. In order to participate in any JSC sponsored events a player must have paid an initial Membership fee of $200 and submitted it with a completed registration form. The balance of the membership fee ($175) is due by March 31 and can be earned through ad, raffle ticket, calendar and/or Goal Card sales. Potential JDHS players must have paid all membership fees before high school team practice begins (~mid-March).

JDHS participation fee of $485 is due on March 31, 2008. The participation fee ($485) can be earned from ad, Goal Card, calendar, and/or raffle ticket sales before March 31, 2008.

Family Cap: For 2007-2008 the cap on fees (membership and/or participation) for any one family is $1,600.

Fundraising Ad/Raffle/Goal Card Sales: 80% of any funds earned by a JSC member, above the required fees, are returned to their age-group Youth Competitive Team or the JDHS team. Each Youth Competitive Team decides how to allocate these funds for team expenses.
Limited membership gives JSC some ability to recognize and accommodate unique registration circumstances that usually relate to the time of year that the player joins the club. For more information, go to the JSC Policies & Procedures Sections… at www.juneausoccer.org.
